Any Interest in a Batch of Cayenne Rotor Centering Rings?
It was recommended that I post this here as well:
I found a local machinist that can make me a pair. I was wondering if there was any interest in more being made for other members?
Shoot me a PM or comment if you would like a pair, and I'll make a tally. I'm going to wait about a week and see how much interest there is.
EDIT: I have a few of these available. Final price ends up being $70 shipped.

Sounds good. I don't want to step on anyone's toes. I just wanted to get one for myself at some point, and figured I'd offer to everyone else as well.
9Products is based out of Finland though, I imagine it would be quite a bit more expensive for them to sell to us US folks.

I don't remember the details. Are the cayenne rotors for early or late offset 951? Which calipers to use with them?
I know there was a thread on this a while back, can't find it.

Cayenne rotors are for late offset only. There are two options for rotors, either 330mm or 350mm. For calipers, there are all sorts of options, but all custom. I think the cheapest and easiest is Lexus ls460 calipers for a good 4 piston monoblock. But you could do Big Reds or anything else as well. The advantage to the cayenne rotors is that they are a much cheaper option than any other large Porsche rotor.

That's about where I'm at, I have an 84 I will eventually convert. Currently, it's stripped for paint and has an LS3 with 0 miles in the engine bay. I think it needs better brakes eventually... Haha.
So far I have three interested plus myself.

It was XS Chop that brainstormed these brake conversions. I bought a set of centering rings from him awhile ago. So the centering rings work well with the dirt cheap rotors but the catch is you will also need a set of adapters for your chosen calipers. The "regular" caliper adapters for the big reds/blacks will not work, they are not centered.

Lindsey makes adaptors to run the Cayenne rotors.

Chrenan: I also run the 996 GT3/Turbo calipers along with 330x34 gt3/turbo rotors. Are the cayenne rotors a direct fit instead of the gt3 rotors if using this ring?
Will my caliper adapter work for cayenne rotor offset if they are working for gt3/turbo rotors?
Thanks!

That's a good question I can't answer Peedster. I'm not sure that the Cayenne and GT3 rotors have identical offset from the spindle, I'd guess no. Rennlister XSchop may know, he made my rings and adapters, Rob really knows his Porsche brakes.
