Vinyl Wrap Weekend
Wrapped the new front and rear fenders. These are "carbon fiber" copies of the fiberglass units we were running last year. The fiberglass fenders and fascia will now we spares.
Vinyl is 3M flat gray and flat orange. This took us about 7 hours. I was the assistant but did all of the stripes.
Thanks to Stephen at Autocore for allowing us to wrap the fenders at his shop in Waterford Michigan.

Jim,
Your car looks Great, Kyle has done a Fabulous Job on the Carbon Fiber Parts for of us.
I can't wait to get my CF doors from him

Looks great Jim. Was the car wrapped previously? Also, what is the clear coat on the screen?

Thanks Max, it was nice (though expensive) to compare notes yesterday.
I have the car wrapped since we went widebody, it makes it easy to do repairs/updates and have my spares ready to go. I now have a spare hood, 4 fenders, fascia and bumper cover.
The windshield is covered because it's a brand new "Shields" windscreen and the plastic is protecting the new surface while it's still in Stephen's shop. Stephen "Autocore" did some tidy up things for me.
New windscreen
Modified exhaust to fit in the tunnel (more clearance for the flat bottom)
Adjustable plates for the flat bottom
Quick releases for the flat bottom to facilitate easy removal at the track
Bearing replacement
Etc..

Did you re-wrap it due to erosion of the previous version? Seems that the wrap is pretty hardy but you've driven your car a lot more than us.

Wrap was due to a second set of fenders made out of carbon. My original and now spare set was rendered in fiberglass. The wrap shows no appreciable signs of wear, parts are re-wrapped or patched for contact damage only.

I'm looking forward to some day getting my car looking like a finished car.
