Default Aftermarket / custom exhaust valves?

Has anyone ever used any aftermarket exhaust valves?
I have spares from my old head but just wondering if i can go aftermarket. and get them undercut ect for better flow.

I have manley intake valves, So i was just going to get exhaust valves while i'm ordering the intake ones.

I'm going to need to replace mine after my auto belt tensioner came loose which has caused the belt to slip.
Just my luck really after the engine has been running strong after sorting out all the issues for over a year now.

I'm more or less wondering if anyone has used aftermarket exhaust valves in our cars.

Shawn used sivalves intakes and stock exhaust on 8v.
Duke used or is still using custom ferrea exhausts on 16v.

For 8v stock sodium filled are probably best price/performance.

What valves were in the head when you bought it from CEP?

Stock exhaust and manley 48mm intake valves.
I was thinking if i get a new set from manley, i might as well get some new exhaust ones from them also instead of using my spare exhaust ones.

Are you sure they are from Manley? Seems odd for CEP to use Manley.

Do not attempt to use Titanium on the Exhaust. You can get away with them on the Intake, but you will need to service them a lot and they do require different seat material and spring rates.

They're manley, It's written on the valve. Im just not sure what series they are.

So titanium is a no go, Ok. But is there any issue using some SS exhaust valves instead of stock? I understand stock is fine ect ect, and i do have a set sitting around. But will i gain anything from a better/newer valve?

The exhaust valves are sodium filled for better heat dissipation. I do not know what the longevity of the valve would be.

Thanks. I'll just stick to the OEM ones.

We use Ferria valves in our supercharged nitrous land speed engine. They hold up just fine @ 400hp/liter.
They will make you any size/style you like and the price is very reasonable.
