Not trying to be a jerk, but you had the pan off and did all this work... were you not aware that the rod bearings should be changed?

about a year ago I was looking at a very good condition 951 to purchase.
This was a high mileage (250,000 kms) but absolutely well taken care of. The owner wanted way more money than I could consider paying.

In conversation, when I asked about rod bearings he said his Porsche trained mechanic (the only mechanic the seller has ever brought his car to since he bought the car NEW) assured him "the engines are good to 400,000 kms before you replace bearings".

for a mildly street driven car with regular changes of good (proper weight) oil i could believe that.
ive driven original-everything 300k+ mile 944s and they felt and sounded the same as a 70k example.

944Online.com are good people!
Regarding the turbo upgrade, will it be mostly "bolt in" or will fabrication be required?

Ian did an awesome job And Delivery.

The new turbo is v-band inn And out, so some fabrication is needed.
Hoping it will make 450-500whp.
