They are gas vector rings from Jeff Lemons, along with new ARP studs which I relocated to be proper on center. The factory ones are not properly centered. Tim is making me a set of 321 Stage 2/3 custom headers to go with my very fancy 321 single Billet header flange that Jeff made me. All of it is machined to within 0.001" tolerance for perfect gas expulsion.

Who said it was little work?
the ports are been reshaped to a totally different approach, valveseats are altered, valves refaced, and a lot of stuf I dont know About 3000$ in work + parts. Something to look forward to :). A customer of ours was running the same Vitesse Stage 2 turbo as you have, using the Vitesse Sledge-Hammer big valve head, Vitesse Cam and V-MAF+. The 951 was lots of fun. See the Good luck with your project. |

You will be surprised ad to what your car will do now :)
Do you have a plan for heat management? Already a large oil cooler in the work? |

I find your numbers very hard to believe but see the chart. Your head flows nearly the same as Shawn's after major surgery and more than LR stage 3 which also has much work done. I spent over $5K to break 285 so just having a hard time buying these numbers with relatively little work. Of course, I am very keen to learn the magic. What were the lifts at stated flow?

I too find this a bit fanciful but head flow figures vary like dynos plus most don't recalibrate which makes the figures look even more impressive. No doubt there is good work on this head but no way it's seeing a true 270cfm with stock valves and cam no matter what alterations to the seats/angles. Not to say it won't be a great car but we can't really compare each others numbers from various flow benches.
The intake has been redesigned ( smaaler inntake runner ) , i can post some pictures when i get it :) The car is going in the Dyno in about 4-6 weeks ( dynapack / rotortest ) |
What degree Mercury and lift?
Look forward to your results. :-) |
