PFC 11's They work very well on a non-abs car. No noticeable fade.

The new Pagid RST compounds are getting quite a bit of play. If you've liked RS14, give RST3 a try, you'll be impressed.

Not sure how available they are in the rest of the world, but I really like the Project Mu HC800's I'm running at the moment.

Jason,

Can you expand on the new Pagid compounds a little?

The RS14 "Blacks" are still available. In what way(s) are the RST3's an improvement? From the Pagid website graphs, looks like the friction coeff is maybe a little higher and stays higher in the higher temps?

Are the RS15 "Greys" gone now?

Anyone using the RST1's?

Thanks for any insight.

Exactly, the RST3 has higher and more stable friction level at higher temps than RS14. The RS15 is indeed gone...there may be some remaining stock for some part numbers but it is no longer in production. The RSL1 has been hugely popular which has been very evident in it's use in Pro Racing circles.

How about good pads I can drive too and from the track without screeching so loud that all those people not in the know think I have a crappy, noisy car. It's embarrassing .

It's tough to get a best of all worlds pad. With that said, we have 1 set remaining of the Pagid "Sport" compound that is a high performance street pad that can be used for light track use:

Another option would be the Stoptech Street Performance pads:

Just swap them over at the track if you don't want to hear them squeal, a compromise pad is not the answer IMHO.

Hawk DTC70's in the front and DTC60's in the rear are what I run on the racecar and love them. The DTC compounds are newer and better than the Blues or even HT10's.

Couldn't agree more. Not that tough to swap and worth the effort.

http://en.9xx-parts.com/product/4015...mance-friction

PFC "Z-rated" beats Ferodo 2500 on track and could be used on street too. No need to change the pad before and after track day

In racing we use mostly 08 when it's just available but it's noisy on the street.

Together with the good pads it's not a bad idea to upgrade first the cooling and then the brake rotors:

357mm PFC brake rotors with our custom center to be used with Big Red / Black calipers:
