If you check in here, Dave is trying to get hold of you.

He needs to get to whatever donor car you mentioned so he can cut out that rear hatch area floor section I need to get car finished.

I made a custom extra cross member with hangars for the fuel tank straps and all that's left back there is for me to fix that floor that PO hacked up for fuel cell.

Give him a ring......I donated all of my spare parts cars and don't have a donor to cut up.

Do not sell the 944 too fast.
You will have nothing to modify or build on a Cup or a GT4...

I have to admit the project is a big part of the enjoyment developing one of these wide body race cars. Would be nice to get them all together at the track for a race weekend.

Any car really...., and agreed 100%.

I'm a tech by trade so I really get into the aspect of building the cars.

My son and I started PCA and local series racing at virtually the same time but other than a rare 500 mile enduro or me splitting the local series heats, I pretty much just wrench on the cars and come up with innovative legal mods.

My son is a top driver in class (SP2) and even if I trailered two prepped cars, it's doubtful that I could beat him, so at best, I'm relegated to 2nd by default.

I'd rather get credit for building the car that won than come 2nd in a race result...

Max is much the same re. "the project"...always tinkering.

Default Finished passenger side of trailer

Finished the passenger side of trailer, just need to pick up three new folding chairs. And six new VP Gas cans.
Know it's time to get back to working on the new race car.

Patrick,
Thank you, how is your car coming along?
I need to get back to work on the new race car project.
I received 100' of 1.5" chromoly for the cage.

Default Carbon Fiber Roof

Guys,
Not a whole lot of progress. Here are some pictures of the Carbon Fiber Roof. Working on the Chromoly cage, finished the Main Hoop.

Roof looks A1 Max. How far off are you from completion on this car?
