New owner of a 86 944 Turbo
Hi Guys, I"m a new owner of a 86 944 Turbo that needs a lot of rebuilding. Looks like someone tried to make it a race car at one time and hasn't been running for a few years. I've wanted a 944 Turbo for a while now and I plan on doing some sort of 3.0 Liter build to the engine. Do you guys have any recommendations to start a new build. I can post some pics later. It's currently got a Gulf Livery paint scheme but the paint is in pretty bad shape. Thanks!

Congratulations and welcome. i too am somewhat in the same boat. this is my second one and the sticky, maintenance/ modifications is a great read and may help you steer in the direction of a rebuild.

Welcome! Look up to the first Admin/Sticky post -- 3 Liter Registry -- it will give you hours of reading about how others have built their motors... There's a pretty strong 951 contingent in CO to tap into as well!
