Oil Consumption on First Start
So I just did a complete rebuild and I just primed the oil pump today using the compressed air into the dipstick method and I got 3 - 4 bar of pressure and 3 bar of pressure without the compressed air. I put 6 quarts of oil in and it filled up to the top line of the dipstick, but after priming I don't see any oil on the dipstick. How much oil should a completely dry car take?
Everything was void of oil including the oil cooler and lines. Zero oil in the car other than the oil used to put the pistons in.

Unplug the wire between coil and distributor and crank it over for a few seconds a few times... This builds oil pressure throughout the engine pretty quickly. Re connect the wire and start up...

Like already said, I usually prime the oil pump during the rebuild, crank it with the coil disconnected, and fire it up.

I only had about 10 psi air pressure in the crankcase. So i figured the oil pump produced 3.5 out of the 4 bars of pressure I saw. I was pretty concerned about over pressurizing the crankcase.
