$1300.00 from what I have read.. it is a lot for a period correct radio, I guess there are a lot of other choice for way less money that could also look period correct.

True enough. I have an Alpine I like alot. At 10% of typical 951 value, it's a lot. If I had a 993, slam dunk.

Probably too expensive for most of us 944 guys but sure adds a lot of toys/functionality to the spartan interior of the 944. I quite like it.

I like it, I'd pay for it - no big deal. Quality headunits are not cheap... Especially GPS units. But not my cup of tea for the system i've got in my car at this moment.

Agree - what is cool is they get a lot of functionality into a small amount of real estate, including the touch screen.

The current or I guess now recently deceased PCM system in the 991.1 (haven't been in a .2 yet) is probably my favourite infotainment system I've had the chance to experience. Really intuitive and easy to use, touch screen was great, had a great hands free, came with Bluetooth and Sirius, the little sim reader and sd drive was neat too. This is essentially a shrunken version of that unit. I think for someone who had a fully restored car or even drove their car daily this would be a pretty big bonus.

As a friend of mine would say unabashedly... "Does it come with auto-suck?"

Is there a good "classic radio" with no Nav, just Bluetooth and USB ports? I really don't need or like Navigation systems.

I second that. Don't need the nav, and don't want to spend 1500.

Some people have been using this:
http://www.bergvillfx.com/index.php/...7418ub-or.html

I am currently using this (but I am not fully happy)
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-tgOkZrt...to-420-BT.html

I think it would be nice that everyone share what they are using and that still look Ok.
