Default FS: 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

Hello!

1986 Porsche 944 Turbo , Manual, Silver on Black interior, unknown Miles
location: Edmonton Alberta, Canada
I have been thinking of selling the car for quite a while now since I rarely drive it. $10,000 OBO

A summary of some of the modifications:

2.5L Vitesse Stage 3
Engine with a 1200 dollar o-ringed head built by IRL racing on it with 20K on it.
Vitesse Stage 3
Tial waste gate
Lindsay Racing Intake
Lindsey Racing Fuel Rails / Pressure
Lindsey Racing full exhaust
Koni fronts and rears
Camber Plates
Black interior.. mint dash.
LSD tranny paid 2200 for built by (can’t remember the racing outfit)
930 steering wheel
Car has megasquirt, fully tuneable.
Brand new Kuhmo Extas - 275/30/17 (R) 255/30/17 (F)
Short Shifter
Brand new Pagid Orange Brake Pads
Catch Can
All of the appropriate Gauges
New Spark Plugs, Wires, and ignition coil
No visible Leaks
Corbeau Racing Seats
Lots of random spares
Extra set of rims (225F, 255R, tires are very old)
Dyno’d at 300-320 WHP at 18 PSI

The interior is in pretty mint condition for its age, as well with the exterior.

the bad

Engine misfires for some reason. i tried to diagnose it but no luck. only under boost at high RPM.
the body work has some chips
and there is some crackage by the license plate (bondo/paint is cracking off the body)

I saw the top picture before reading the description and immediately thought 'CALGARY!' Close enough.

$10k CDN ~ $7700 USD.

This is a steal. What's the catch?

Just the miss firing is the only real catch. the car is in, incredible shape.

as for the low price, there is very little interest so far.

Importing it into the U.S. is not a problem. Drive it?

So let's say I fly to Canada and drive it back would I have to pay taxes at the border? Any customs fees?

I think it's something like 2.5% tax you have to pay.

If this was originally a US car you wouldn't have to pay duty (again).
