Default 951 LR super 53 turbo coolant tube mod.

I knew I was going to have to address the issue of the coolant manifold on the turbo with a bigger turbo. LR super53 turbo housing was so much taller so I had my brother add some meterial to the manifold. I haven't got it from him yet but this is the photo he just sent me. I had him add 1-1/8" or 28.57mm to the coolent housing.

I will see how it fits when I get it.

The banjo and the tube were probably furnace brazed into the fitting, I'd check for leaks after the welding.

Yes my brother did. He works at a winery fixing all there equipment. He tig welded it using a stainless 3/4" pipe. I will get it back after lunch today and check the fitment.

Nice project. Like the approach.

I heated my pipe up with a propane torch and reshaped it to get mine to fit on my super 75. It's been working for 6 years now.
