You lost me too about two minutes into the drive. My "Check Coolant Level" light started to flash and I did smell coolant. I didn't see any leak and my coolant level was below the Minimum mark. I restarted the car and the light did not flash this time around so I played it safe and drove home.
I still don't see any leak and I did add coolant. About 1-2 cups. What sucks s my pressure tester doesn't have an adapter for this type of cap. It does fit my 951 coolant cap.

You are welcome to borrow my pressure tester if helpful. Just send me a note if you want to use it.

Th 986 do but I haven't heard the 987 having this problem. I'll be putting it on jack stands later this week and look underneath and see what I find.

I would like to start doing more get together's with the 944 community.
I have my 88 944t that I hope finally gets put back together in about the next 3-4 weeks.
I live in Davis / Sac area. Maybe we can start trying to do once every 6 months?
I could bring the P!G. It's a turbo, fun.

I’m in as well. My 951 still not registered so I’ll have to bring the other car.
Tom, one of the problems of having a new car is you begin to barely drive the old car. Over time the old car gets jealous and begins to give you problems. Well that’s what happened to me. My 951 sat for long periods and now I can’t pass smog.
