Desperate for help
Hey guys, I need some help, I have a 1986 951 recently rebuild my engine, had it running on Max951 chips just to make sure everything mechanical was good, went and did a 28 point DME mod and installed rouges A-tune, long story short it would not start after that, talked to Josh at rouge and found out that The a-tune kit I got was used and missing the daughter board, had rouge send me one, installed it, now it will start for like 1 sec and die, tested my wiring, I'm getting the 5volts on the read wire, I'm getting 1.6volts on the green and the black wire has a good continuity test to ground, also check my solding job in the DME and everything seems fine, I went an replaced the map sensor with a GM 3 bar, as soon as I plugged it in it started and ran, then it start running very ruff at idle and died, and I haven't been able to get it to start again. I checked continuity and volts at the map sensor, all check good, I even tested to see if voltage changed with different vac and it does. I've jumped my DME relay to test that and no change, I've checked my distributer to make sure it's ok and it is Can anyone help me, should I resolder everything, is anyone in CT that knows a good bit about this?

I just out a fresh 5 gal 93 octane in, and I can hear the fuel pump running when I jump the DME relay, I had it running on the max951 chips, my no start happened after I did a Map install and 28 pin upgrade,

I swapped A-tune chips, got it running, adjusted the idle, and went to the first click on the FQS, and so far so good, just gotta put the wheels on and go for a blast

No, the used A-tune kit didn't have the chip board and the MAP was bad... The actual chip was fine, I had Josh burn me another chip for 55lb injectors and something's weird with that one..: but right now I have the car running, just gotta finish putting the exhaust on and wheels, then take it for a ride and see what my AFR's are at

Update!! So, long story short, I have checked and double checked all my A-tune wiring, I've even converted a second DME, still would get a no/hard start, built myself a boost leak checker, found 2 large boost leaks, I also swapped my 52lb injectors out and put the stock ones back in, No start is fixed, starts every time, Idle is super smooth, and AFR's are close to perfect, might have to adjust. The DME FQS switch but all is well, I don't know why the injectors would cause no/hard start, maybe the spray pattern was poor? I had them cleaned and checked at witch hunter before install so idk. But I'm happy
