Is the steering column still original? Brake pedal switch? Let's see... How about the...umm...that's all I got...that car looks like every millimeter has been modified! I was going to say hard brake lines but I just looked at your photo you posted with the 611 hp pull. Wow!!!
That is A++ piece of art!!!

Thanks guys
Patrick I don't think it's so much a frankencar these days. Apart from the 968 base engine it's only the rear multilink suspension that is made by a car manufacturer (Porsche 996). The rest is custom made or pure motorsport parts. So I'd like to think it's proper race car now

Ha, I wish!! No, my budget is finally getting very low. Would love this though. It's a huge advancement over our H pattern boxes.

I absolutely love this build, and admire your driving skills.
I also don't find it a frankencar, but a 944 "upgrade-complete" edition. Like Gustaf said - each component he upgraded was either custom fabricated or taken from proffessional motorsport manufacturers. The multilink suspension is the only part he took from another car.. But why not? In the end - it's also a motorspot part.. The 968 was meant to be named 944s3 in the first place, and not far at all from s2 design so in my opinion the engine is "native" to 944, only fixed a bit by factory.
