Went to pick up my 86 944 turbo from mechanic, We were talking about the new smog check 2 program and I had mention that I was going to have problems getting my car smogged because of my MAF. He told me that APE were CARB approved and hands me a exemption sticker. The exemption # is EO # D-2281.

My car was failed on the visual because of my Speedforce MAF. When I argued, the monkey asked for paperwork. My question is, did you have paperwork on your MAF, or is quoting the EO #D-2281 all that is required?

I think that EO (D-228-1) is for the chip. There is no listing on the CARB site as of July 31 for an APE MAF.

that whole visual inspection is BS anyway. What does it matter what you got under the hood, as long as whatever comes out the pipe is within spec?
