I didn't know that the APE Maf were CARB Approved
Went to pick up my 86 944 turbo from mechanic, We were talking about the new smog check 2 program and I had mention that I was going to have problems getting my car smogged because of my MAF. He told me that APE were CARB approved and hands me a exemption sticker. The exemption # is EO # D-2281.

Ken,
Wow if this works, I will offer to buy you lunch!
My car was failed on the visual because of my Speedforce MAF. When I argued, the monkey asked for paperwork. My question is, did you have paperwork on your MAF, or is quoting the EO #D-2281 all that is required?

I used to work for Tecnomen. Their head quarters are in Espoo and I used to visit Helsinki a lot in the mid-'90s.
Always liked that town! Is the Irish-Bar Molly Malones still in business?
Karl.

Town?!? Come on, Helsinki is the capital, and also the biggest city in the country ... half a million inhabitants and all!
Molly Malones sure is still in business! I *think* I've been there once, but can't really remember much as I was rather drunk... anyway, they even have a website at http://www.mollymalones.fi/
