1jz/2jz Conversion
I talked with Dinsdale and he said he wants me to build the torque tube adapter for either a 2jz or a Volvo 24 valve inline 6.
Just gauging interest in a production swap kit. |
That would be really cool. Unfotuetly or fortunately I'm already a V8 guy... Lol
But the sound of a 2jz would be so sick. |
I'm going to build the adapter where it clocks the engine so the factory brake booster stays put.
No headers to worry about either. |
Will it fit? The 1z/2jz is a long engine.
wow, it almost makes me wish my motor was blown.
send that stroker down my way then dave :p
but a full engine swap is best done on a non-turbo..:)

Could be interested depending on price.
I'd be interested
If the 1JZ/2JZ fits then the RB24/28 DETT will (say no more)!

But then you have to upgrade everything else on the car to handle more power...so I disagree.
How a 1uz? Shorter and lighter than 1jz/2jz. Makes as much power as the turbo 2jz. And there's enough room in front for a BIG turbo.
