Someone on the 951 Facebook page posted about a plug-n-play version of VEMS for the 951 becoming available soon. I'm sure you'd find much more support with VEMS. Even in the USA, VEMS is very popular with the Audi crowd.

I am also running this on my 3L turbo with vems egt/afr gauge wired into breakout box for closed loop. The beauty of this is ecu is when I swap in my 16v turbo next month (hopefully), is it uses the same ref/speed sensors as the 8v as long as you use the turbo bellhousing , so straight forward engine swap.

I've now had Augtronic nearly a year and the difference is incredible.
I found the response of the car to inputs was improved and with controllability on all the important variables the skies the limit with modifications.
I am now setting up the throttle and rpm based boost control which I expect will make a big difference to the drivability to the car especially with the new turbo.
Its also worth noting that I have no previous experience with mapping and I have had no problems with using Tom's software, its simple and easy to use and is also great to have the advise and tips from Tom who knows a lot about the benefits to be had with this system.
