If you missed the last event in '11 here's your chance. If you've always dreamed of going to the Porsche Museum in Germany you'll never get closer than this. If you have any interest in going book a room NOW. The hotels here are famous for gouging. Look in Salinas or Seaside. It's about ~30 minutes further but reasonable. I know Monterey like my own town for you guys out of state ask me any question. Out of state should probably fly into San Jose or SFO. It's about a 2 hour drive to Monterey.

What: Porsche Rennsport Reunion V will be the world’s greatest gathering of Porsche race cars and the drivers who drove them to victory. Hosted by Porsche Cars North America, it will showcase the widest variety of Porsche’s most historic racing models, from the nimble 550 Spyder of the mid-’50s through the mighty 917 and 956/962 of the ’70s and ’80s to the highly successful RS Spyder of the last decade.

Last held in 2011, Porsche Rennsport Reunion is nirvana for not only Porsche enthusiasts, but everyone interested in motorsports and automobile history. A special Porsche Concours will also be held that presents some of the finest road-going Porsches in one location.

When: September 25-27, 2015

Parking: Free parking available.

Gates: Open at 7 a.m.

I can't fit myself plus three boys in the car AND camping gear so we are doing a hotel this year. We camped at the last one and it was one of the best times of our lives.
Someone should jump on this. It will be a lot of fun for someone.

Yes I'm driving with a couple buddies. We're leaving Wednesday morning and staying in downtown Carmel. Driving home on Monday.
