Found this on the forum when I installed my oil cooler:

Factory hard steel piping on the turbo*oil*cooler*is about 0.71" OD.
-10 AN Fittings are approx 0.62" OD. -10 Hose ID is 0.56".
-12 AN Fittings are approx 0.75" OD. -12 Hose ID is 0.69".

I should have been more specific. I need to know the ID of the stock hoses at the console so I know what size hose will fit over the factory barb fittings. I was hoping 5/8th hose will fit the barbs snuggly. 10 AN-to-5/8th hose barb adapters are easy to get for the oil cooler end, not so much for weirder sizes like 11/16th.

I'll go find out right now, I have a stock cooler on the shelf with both hoses. Do you need a certain hose ? Not sure if both are the same.

*******update*********

I cut the the hose I had (the one with the longer metal tubing end) and the Id is .625 so 5/8.

Thanks! that is exactly what I thought it was, and yes I believe the supply and return hoses are the same diameter. I'll make a new thead when I'm done, but this bit of info was the last thing I needed to put together a cheap, big aftermarket oil cooler kit.

Basically: Cut factory swagging off both stock oil lines, reuse stock 5/8th hose barb fittings on the oil cooler console. Using high pressure hydraulic crimp clamps, secure new lengths of 5/8th rubber hose to the repurposed fittings. These will attach to a pair of one piece brass male 10AN-to-5/8th hose barn fittings on the oil cooler unit its self.

Does anyone have any of the OEM adapter fittings that wants to sell?
The ones that are between the oil filter housing and the oil cooler lines.

The outside diameter on the metal nipples / fittings is exactly 16mm, measured at the base; the barbs are slightly larger. The inside diameter of the hoses (measured towards the middle after cutting one) is about 15.90mm so probably 16mm nominal.
