Turbo question

Is it true that 944 turbo's transaxle cannot tolerate over 350 H.P. without breaking. So many people on this board have way over 350 hp any problems with transaxle.

using a fluid w/ the right slip rating, an LSD and not banging through gears all the time there shouldn't be a problem.

Rage2 had over 400rwhp from his car with quite a lot of dragracing and track usage. No problems with the tranny, but he was eating up CV-joints like crazy...

Have you been reading claims on the Windward site? Funny too is that you don't hear of anyone buying up those 924 trannies either...

86 944 turbo,
There are several people that have produced big number without damaging their transaxle. If you read that on the Windward website, don't worry about it. Are you trying to build 350+hp?
