924 GTP - 944 LM re-creation

Hey guys,
Sorry for such a long silence but so much work in the garage since my last post. An Alfa 2000 GTam to make come back from the rusty death takes all our time
So, to give you some news about the GTP it's absolutely very well and we're now only waiting for the sunny days to confirm the chassis setup on tracks.
From the engine side it seems to be not so bad. I let you have a look by yourselves.
See you

Are you using a 935 hub or a custom one?
Upright is interesting. I'm not sure I would thread into the AL ears for the caliper like that though.
Car looks great.

Slicks aren't the best tyre to use on dyno. Motor sounds great. What results did you see? What boost?

You're right, this would be a shame to directly use the aluminium threads this is why we add inserts threads to reinforce them and ensure the tightening torque.

At the moment we estimated 320 HP with 1 bar. We try to have the more reliability as possible to finalize the break-in period.

Slicks, clearly not you're right but this one were dead so it was not a problem. We now have brand new DUNLOP ready to be used. Thanks for the sound, we love it too.

So to conclued an 8 years story of construction, the target moment finally arrived.
We were lucky to find a sympatic track owner who accepted to let us do the shakedown of the car alone, without to many furious around us .
I have to say that it's a moment when you're happy to have a camera stabilization on your phone because i was shaking like a young pupil for his first day of school.
The car ran perfectly without any problem. Everything was fine just some small adjustements to do but nothing really wrong during the 2 hours we had to do our tests.
Of course sound limit of 95 dB (and fear) excluded the possibility to test the car to its limits but for a first run after so much modifications we're quite proud to say that it's a Fuc***g nice car. A real Tribute to the mother car in STUTTGART's Museum.
I hope you'll enjoy the same as us, even this is not an impressive video, but we are happy to share this nice moment with you
