Hey folks,
My ground strap from negative battery post to block ground has significant corossion and I'd like to replace. Any source for these today beyond oem or making my own?

It's a forked cable, with one end short going to firewall, the other to back of engine block. Will go look - doubtful I'll find that, but worth a try. Don't need it imminently as I'm pulling out turbo to replace AOS seals.

There's always the Ice Shark kit. comes with both battery cables plus alternator and fuse box wires. Have not installed mine yet but the quality is outstanding. I think it was $275 shipped.

You can always un-fork them, ie: fit two cables instead of one forked one. imo tinned copper is a good option to replace the one to the block. It gets hot back there and the stock insulated cable tends to lose the installation over time anyway.

Yes - it was in bad shape - cracking and corroded.

I bought a kit off of Robby here - I believe it's pretty much an exact replica of the IceShark kit.
Nice, quality stuff, all perfect length and ready to bolt on. The wiring that came out of my car was pretty nasty.

Here is the link that Robby posted for Ice Shark cables. I bought and installed a set and they are very well made and have well laid out installation guide. If he does not respond to you right away; he may be busy and will get back to you as soon as he can.
