^Nice color. I don't think I've seen it before.

You want to talk about no love? Try owning a Cayenne. The only time they're even acknowledged is when they're towing a more deserving Porsche to the track.

Even Cayenne owners hate Cayennes!

Looks like it has been driven and, hopefully, looked after. No matter what I buy ($5K-$20K) I'm assuming about 5-7$K is going into it immediately. So that asking price is a bit high for me. I don't like the wheels either. They just don't look "normal" without the phone dials.

Yeah, the 928 has nothing on the 951 in speed - especially around corners (Weissach axle or no). But I've driven ten hours at a stretch in my 951, and when I got there I felt like I'd been riding in a paint can shaker. I have leather sport seats in it and, really, they're awful for anything more than an hour or two.

Admittedly, my 928 is a little 'thumpy' with the wheel/tire combination I have now (Cup IIIs with 35-series tires). I'm thinking that for long trips I may swap in the stock phonies.

Looks? Well, that's completely subjective. I love the look of the early Sharks, not so much the later ones. But then: I'm a fan of the Panamera and the early Cayenne. There's just no accounting for taste.

^ And along comes Lart, with an infantile gesture, as if to illustrate my point...

f_ck what some e-poster likes. it's about what you like.

bottom line; you have to be all in to own 'em cuz you want to drive 'em fast.... and you'll break stuff.

that's the only f_cking way to be. live hard, play hard... cuz it might be the last day.

fast cars and faster women.

and I'd have a beer with a 928 guy cuz they're cool and they make me feel less fat.

Don't know Lart, but am always entertained by his comments.

Your collection sounds great. I will probably satisfy my weakness for these cars as well as time progresses.
