Default Carrillo Rods (4) & Mahle Pistons (3) for Sale

$800 shipped in continental US
4 Carrillo Rods
3 good mahle pistons
1 damaged mahle piston

They are out of a stroker 2.8 motor alucil block.
#1 piston has broken ring but ring land appears intact.
#4 piston is junk.

Don't have any documentation from motor build. The above + what you see in the pictures is all I know for details on the parts. Will ship all parts in the pictures.

Why sell a busted piston? That's just more baggage for shipping.

I'd rather not press out the wrist pin.

press out? I thought all you had to do is pull the clip with a screw driver and push the pin out??

Agree, just pop out the C-clip and tell the buyer to call Mahle and get a new C-clip.

I've got an extra mahle piston from my old 2.8l if you want it. I am like you where I had one come unglued so I have 3 laying around in my garage.

Does anyone know what the 100P32 means? I have a new set of (claimed) 2.8 stroker pistons incoming that say 100P35+ in that location.

Thanks.

I was talking to someone that has owned a 3.2 engine and he said if he was doing it again he would go 2.8 instead.

I don't recall, perhaps because it was just a 3.0 crank and new pistons.
