Would it be possible to add a hydraulic TOB to the regular 924 BH?

And they're available.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-924-...item4d0f12fa90 Downsides to a cable clutch setup? Periodic adjustment required, so check it at oil or belt changes...? You can still get new ones at the corner store...and the pedals will bolt in  http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1331&ppt=C0015 and the mechanism... https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3224...a8c1d1da_o.jpg |
would be nice if Integrated Engineering did a "reverse" intake manifold...

Say we did want to shift the motor forward, how would we do that with the torque tube? A bellhousing spacer and TT shaft extension? |
So I'm guessing LSD isn't a must with this swap as it is with a LSx engine, am I correct thinking this? I was pretty set on a v8 but now I'm not so sure. This is definitely very interesting to me... Will be watching this build closely. Also not sure if u already said what turbo are u gonna use exactly. Is it the C2 kit for the 07k? If not any idea which one? Thanks and good luck

yes, it is. |

Turbo isn't decided yet, I'll have to decide on my power goals. I won't be using the C2 kit, it'll most likely be a custom tubular manifold from Iroz. Turbo most likely will be 35r sized similar to the UrQ setup for around 600whp if I do E85/race gas. Pump gas will probably limit me to 500whp. My 968 is going to be a street-legal track car that's completely gutted (including lots of undercoating) so probably to the tune of 2500-2600 lbs. So 500+whp should be a riot. Even if I do a 35r on the stock internals and limit it to 400whp. |

Most other things need the same amount of work. No disrespect to the LS1 people, but the 07K meets my needs better. Cheers, Mike |

I see... I figured the torque being lower with this engine, the none LSD 951 tranny would hold up. Can't wait to see this happen, very exciting.

No disrespect to the LS1 people. it also seems like there's not as many LS1s available for sale as there were a few years ago. then there are lots of engines getting built that can rev pretty high... with the right cam set up, my 388 c.i. LS7 would be able to spin up to 7,800~8,000 safely. |
Oooooooh, cool, LS1's are collectable? Speculator's paradise? Wonder how many I can buy with my bitcoins?
just kidding... got a lot of respect for the LS-powered crowd, I shelled out for Greg Sloane's book. Cheers, Mike |
