I have obsession with nice tools..

Besides, I had one chinese gauge type micrometer and it fell apart on first occasion so I had to borrow one and it was mitutoyo absolute. Loved it.

Gruhsy, do you have a booth?

I'd consider making the drive to Calgary if you're good with a gun, so to speak.

I'm working on getting something setup. This may take me a bit. Kinda depends on what my work does also. If we move buildings I'm trying to convince them to get a better paint booth...if not then I'm going to do something myself. This may take a couple years to happen but I like to plan ahead

The Mitutoyo calipers are good! I have a few of them. The cheap ones don't feel as good. Not as smooth and feel like they'll fall apart.

as for the indicators.. I rather a dial then digital as i can see what's happening on flat surfaces more then a digital one.
