I few years back, I did a little experimenting with a cold air intake and heat vent for my 951. Attached are a few pictures. The scoop is rear facing, has a metal grill, and is situated in a low pressure area in front the windshield. The goals was to increase the airflow through the engine compartment for the radiator and intercooler. The panel in-front of the intercooler is vented. It appears to work. The cold air intake is based on the Lindsey Racing unit. However, the MAF I settled on was not compatible. The overflow tank had to be moved up a few millimeters, a new duct was cut, had to find a new air filter and the hole into the fender was enlarged. I believe the system works well, but I have not done any before and after benchmarks. I would appreciate any input on how to improve the system.
