what are you running now? can you compare it to a Garrett GTX3076R?
also, do they make a rebuild kit? and how much does it cost? I mean, Im curious because, the ball bearings shouldn't wear?? so that would mean shaft wear no?

You will have to contact Turbonetics in regards to the rebuild. I will say that the turbo spools very quickly.

Compair it to a GTX3076R. Huge difference. First a kkk housing vs a GT housing have huge flow differences. KKK are more restrictive. Which means top end will fall on it's face quicker then a turbo with a GT housing.
The compressor wheels. The GTX wheel is far more efficient in boost and flow.
The 60-1 wheel is capable of ~600 hp which is good.
Spool up? OP when did this turbo reach 1bar? my gtx3076r w/.82 housing did it at 3500rpm 3rd gear for comparison sake.
You're comparing new technology to old.
there is nothing wrong with the turbo the OP is selling, In fact it was one of my choices before the GTX.
OPs turbo:
The good:
It'll bolt on to stock Xover and down pipe.
Bad:
required water pipe mod (easy to do and find)
Old technology
GTX
good:
very good all rounder turbo
new technology
Bad:
Custom up pipe
Custom down pipe
Custom turbo mount/oil drain
Custom oil feed
Custom water lines
I wouldn't hesitate to buy the 60-1 and rebuild it.

BTW - the compressor side of my turbo has been ground down a little to help with the water pipe fitment. A little bend in the water pipe and you're good to go. I also made a thin plate to go on the bottom of the turbo mount that covers the "O" ring to prevent leaking since the bottom oil drain area is not as wide as the stock turbo.

im sure its a good turbo, I had contemplated it a few years ago. I just have this VGT turbo i really want to install.
but then again sometimes I think just put a regular turbo in and drive. however if the cost and hassel to get this rebuilt it more than 70% of the cost of the GTX... you know, you buy something you think is a deal, "I'll fix it up".... by the time you're done, you think "yeah it wasn't so much of a deal after all". Have had that happen too many times.
