Thank you sir, ya that is indeed an optima on its side lol. I haven't had any issues been in there a almost a year and they're designed not to leak so I am testing this theory.

I'm wodering, how many miles do you have on your coilovers and how well do you think the KYB inserts will hold up damping the 300 lb springs? I'm running literally the same setup as you are now and I've heard some say it will be fine and others tell me to prepare for when the KYBs blow up.

I've had my setup for over a year now and no issues. I mainly do street driving so not like I'm hitting a track and honestly the shocks should last a while unless they bottom out. Usually shock replacement on most car is 50k miles or more so I would expect close to that number. Got any pics of your setup? How you like it?

Very true, hopefully I will clean her up this summer. I feel like I'm in there working all the time and when I'm not I don't feel like working on her lol.

Well got my intake manifold done today, very pleased with my quick powder coat job while doing the crank sensors. So if any body needs something coated as long as it'll fit in an oven let me know.

Very nice, I may be picking up my very own 86 turbo soon.

What kind of powder coating equipment did you use? Harbor freight tools has a cheap setup i was thinking about trying.

Thanks Shawn, I'm planning on Orange Pearl Boost Pipes and Maf Tree, with the Graphite Intake and a Polished Shaved Logo Cam Housing. Hopefully it will look good together, time will tell

Picking up an 86 Turbo, that's awesome man! Be sure to make a thread with some pics

I got an oven locally for free and put it in my townhouse shed, had to wire a new outlet (don't tell my complex lol). The gun is from Harbor Freight does really well, wanted the Eastwood Hot Coat but this was a good value to get started . For the compressor I'm using just a small pancake 6 gallon compressor, since everything is just oven size I left my larger compressor at my parents house 3hrs away.

I think I'm going to remove that catch can doesn't get anything but condensation in it really and see what else I can remove to clean the bay up some.

Do you have a post somewhere detailing your MAF set up?
