I lost a lot of fuel my first session out with the hole drilled. I plugged it and put a vent hose into the fender. Done. Did you just pick up the vented cap at any auto parts store or is it a special order item?

I just go to local auto parts and look up an early 924 part. That are kinda crappy, and I end up replacing them every couple of years when the vent seems to jam and I get more than usual pressure release when I remove. But they keep the fuel in.

reviving this thread, does anyone know a part number for the early 924 vented gas cap. Looking to get rid of my evap purge system and charcoal canaster.
