How much lag can you deal with?
Just a bit of fun, How much turbo lag can you deal with on your 951?
all at 1bar / 14.5 psi. |
My car is a dedicated track car so not really driven under 3500 rpm.
|
I am always racing so the RPM's are always at 6500
|
I think it depends on the power output youre looking for.
I'd say full boost at 4000-4300 rpm is acceptable if you're making 450-500hp, but totally unacceptable to make 300hp. |
Don't mind a little lag, as long as it pulls hard to redline
|
No Lag and big HP. That is what I like :)

|
I voted based on 25psi. :)

Lighter bottom end, dry sump & solid lifters? Geez a lot of rpm

On 2.5 and leaking headers I had 1 bar at 3600 and now 2.8 is about 3200. As the weather cools I expect sub 3000 for 1 bar.
|
my 60-1 hits one bar at around 4100
Little laggier than I'd like, at least I get decent gas mileage... |
4000 with all of my builds
