No Boost Pressure

Since I pulled it, I wanted a second opinion, so, I took it to another rebuilder and he looked at it and said, this thing is "messed up". He put some compressed air on the exhaust turbine and the whole turbo started wobbling out of control.
Needless to say, I was MAD. So, I took it back to the original rebuilder and said you need to make this right, it didn't even run for 500 miles on stock boost pressure. If he tries to charge me again, I'm probably going to go to the BBB or something because I'm so disappointed in the quality of work.
Once it's done, I'm going to have it checked by someone else.

For a turbo that hadn't seen over 500 miles that oil in the hot side is a indication of bad seals, overall a bad rebuild

The samething happened to my car when I had the stock K26 rebuilt. After about 2 months of daily driving and one day I took it up to 15PSI I heard the "BANG" and it wouldnt boost anymore. That night my brother was behind me in his truck and he told me all he saw was a huge flame come out of the exhaust..

So, I got the turbo back again. He even agreed it was not rebuilt well, anyways, he made it right for me. The shaft was replaced with what looks like the shaft from a K27 because it is a bit longer than the stock shaft. The exhaust wheel was replaced too.

It's raining today, so, I'm going to wait it out before I put her all back together. I think it will actually perform way better than it ever did when it was working before. Super excited!

SUCCESS!!! The rebuilt turbo did the trick. I did miss an exhaust bolt tightening though because it sounds like a beetle of steroids. Anyways, I'll post a few pics later, I got the turbo front end and rear valance installed
