Hey Tony are you going to be able to make it to Spring Mountain this weekend? Great opportunity to stretch her legs

Well... almost ready for the track. It's been a long road...

We have a little more dyno time then it's off to the track.

Here's a couple of runs on the dyno today... quick shifts and fire baby!

20% load (like going up a 20% incline) on a Mustang dyno...

Turn the volume up!

2 complete runs through the gears up and down.

That's pretty damn fat right there!! The SQ box makes such a difference. Moreso to turbo cars but a big gain for n/a just the same. Imagine there's a nice flat power curve through the gears now.

Yes... rotary 10 position switch... although it's not been tested yet. You can only setup/test on the track unfortunately.

Gives new meaning to the term "poor man's Porsche"

You really need someone who knows their stuff to set that up. I'm sure you have that taken care of.

Cheers.

You need at least two at a minimum... one for the Motec engine management and one for the Geartronics transmission control setup (which is more complex than the engine mapping fyi). These two systems need to communicate with each other. We ended up using four different people.

Still have more engine management work to do. Another day on the dyno should wrap it up.

Gonna to test on Sat with some scrub tires at a local VARA event. Gonna be good to be in the pilot seat again.

We had a lot of problems setting up the traction control, we run without it at the moment.

Really? I've heard that TC is really tricky to setup. Seems overly complex but I guess it is what it is.
