Well, that's one that got sick and threw up.
It does look like an oiling issue from the images, but you can only tell so much from a couple pics.

Noticed that there was a Time Attack meeting at your local track ButtonWillow last week. Best time of 1:39 I believe. What does that compare to?

It compares to nothing because I don't know what track configuration they were running, and in which direction.

But at a 1:39, they had to be running one of the shorter configurations of the track.

Here's a link to the various track maps. Each can be run counter clockwise or clockwise.

Wow...that's amazing how many layouts can be achieved there. I've never seen anything quite like that.
I wonder how to find out what layout these guys were running out of curiosity.

You'd have to ask one of them that ran there. The track calendar doesn't indicate the track layout. Or... you could find the club that rented the track, and check their website to see if their sign up or events page specified the track layout.

A pic from the last race at Chuckwalla Raceway in Southern California with the POC in GT1. 2nd place in class and 2nd place overall.

Great picture! Car looks very planted.

I haven't driven that layout in about 5 years. We don't usually run this track, although we ran it this year (not this config though). I don't know why... it's a great track and it's fairly close.

The new engine is almost done.....

427" LS7 with lots of goodies.

Note the custom dry sump oil pan. Hopefully this eliminates my oiling woes...

looks like the port work was lubed with the blood of a vanquished cup-car owner.

those flow specs are nuts, and those piston crowns are crazy! this is sure to be a monster. power estimates?

There is Some nice port biasing going on there. Nice flow numbers.

What are they at 450-500 if you have that info? Like to know the comparison.
