Default Newb question...

Ok, I am looking at an 86 951 and cannot figure out what these two option codes mean so I call upon the gurus of the 944 world. Also here is the options label.

Not sure about A03 but F64 was the code used for cars built and provided to the Porsche family.

I believe 944online.com has a code list as well.

Nice 5R tranny. They seem to have the strongest clutch stock and LSD w oil coolers

A03 seems to mean a black interior on newer Porsche cars.

I am pretty sure that they code for packages of options. I have codes:
J61 and L21
among varies other codes. And I found that those packages contained my options for LSD, Sport Seats, Sport Shocks, and other things like that. I think the only way to figure out what is inside those packages of options is to give your VIN to somebody and see what they can tell you.

Thanks for all of the input. I am going to try to call my local Porsche dealership tomorrow and see what they say.

As others have said, package options.

Since you have the 5R lsd, do you also have sports seats and sport shocks? Would probably eaqual a performance package.

Yes it has sport seats but unsure about the shocks...haven't seen the car in person.
