Yeah I doubt it'll make 220hp but it was somewhat nicely done. Not worth what they're asking though. Not even close. Good candidate for a turbo swap.

320 hp at the flywheel is pretty spectacular for our cars. wish the hell i had it.

then i'd only want 370 hp, etc.

i like the visegrips holding the hood strut up.

also...
Aluminum vs. steel

Any place on the car that aluminum meets steel is going to have a special washer. These two different metals cannot touch or it will start major corrosion. I always look at these areas to see if the correct washers are in place or if some NON Porsche mechanic did a job and threw regular washers in.
he must have some special block/pistons/camshaft/clutch/crankshaft stuff going on...

Well, the add says its "bored" and "stroked" with head and cam work -- so 220hp seems within the bounds of possible for a 2.8L+ motor. I'd believe 220hp when I see it on the dyno though...

It doesn't look back from a distance and these pictures are from a distance. Inbetween his words he's implying a great deal of care to the details. However, I have a few questions for these here seller.

What was the car's original color?
Where are the front indicator lenses?
Why is the fuel filler flap not painted?
What's up the the yellowed and old coolant overflow tank?
Where is the cover for the HVAC blower?
Was the odometer gear replaced? If so, when and how long was the car operated without a working odometer?
Tell us more about this "race" suspension.
If an interior tells the mileage story, then why did you replace the interior of a 21K mile car?

You clearly dont understand how simple bolt ons add N/A horsepower.

4 prong spark plugs +10hp
Performance spark plugs wires +MSD+15hp (+20 if they happen to be red)
Cold air intake+ 20hp
Headers +15
Cat delete and free flowing muffler+15hp
Chip +15-17hp

So thats how you go from 140hp to 220 on a 944, take notes

And if he adds a cam and does some head work, add another 50.

Oh, and not to mention, a turbo transmission to make the gears longer....just right for an NA

Anyway, Im seriously considering trolling his listing by feigning interest...

Not recommended.

We had a RL'er banned a few weeks ago for messing with someone's auction...

In actual daily driving the 951 trans makes no difference compared to the 944 trans. It's actually better on the highway too.
