worth of vitesse kit?
I just installed my M-tune and have this in a box now. I replaced it due to a running issue I couldn't figure it out. I found out this past week that my issues were coming from a knock sensor harness that was broken. The car ran with the same symptoms as when this kit was installed. I just want to see what it would be worth if I would post it for sale??

Hmm... I'm May include the turbo I have as well. I am thinking about rebuilding it first. It's about the same as a k27/8 but single ball bearing. What could I ask for the kit then??
Anymore inpUt??

The kit was installed with the k27/8 size turbo that I spoke of above. I do not know if I have the instructions... I will have to look I'm my records.... The turbo has no name or numbers but it is a direct bolt on and a single ball bearing turbo.... It will be an awesome turbo when it's rebuilt... It was burning oil, the rear seal wasn't sealing....

I sold a complete setup - a new-in-box (never used) MAF and chip (with V-Flex), with low hour (probably less than an hour run time) injectors (IIRC they were the 80lb units), SMT-8 piggyback (8, not 6) with boost control solenoid, for $1,350 here a year ago. New it was damn near $3,500 worth of stuff.
It doesn't hold much value. I had a lot of offers and they were all in this range. Considering what you can get a new M-Tune setup for with injectors these days, I (sadly) think I did pretty well when I sold my Vitesse stuff. It needs to be discounted pretty substantially IMO for it to be worth it to somebody to buy a used setup vs. a new one.
If you have a buyer at $900 I'd jump all over it and wouldn't look back. If it were me, knowing what I sold my stuff for, I'd probably price yours around $500 to get it sold.

I sold my complete Vitesse MAF, injectors, connector harness ($125 on it's own) and chip with less than 50 miles of usage for about $1300. That's 2/3 of what I bought it new for and it was in the same condition that it came out of the shipping box. I had a lot of offers in the $600-$800 range but I just couldn't lose that much money so I held out.
Since your kit looks well-used, I'd jump all over an offer of $900.
On a side note, John Vitesse does not//not offer free support to anyone that buys his kits second-hand.
