Default Whats the best tires out there now ?

Thinking of new tires for the upcoming driving season..whats everyone's opinion for tires..Currently running 16 X 7-8 Fuchs..with Yoki ES100 225 / 245-50..strictly street driving..Bought the Yokis 6 years ago cuz they were in-expensive..
Thanks in advance

Do you mean actually on the track or just an all out summer street tire?

Andrew, were you at PIR last year? Try the Dunlop Star Spec. Good value.

Second. Also very good for autocross. Very good in the wet and do not turn into hockey puck when the temperature drops to the 30's

I wish Yokohama made them in 245/45/16! I have them on my Alfa, and they're fantastic for the street and leave little to be desired on the track. Obviously, there are better options for track/DOT tires, but the S.Drives are a pretty fantastic tire for the street.

I like the Bridgestone RE-11. Good grip in wet and dry, and they are bidirectional, so I can switch them from side to side.

The tyre specialists near me suggested Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres. I had heard good things about them too, so I got them. About a week later a work mate bought in a car mag into work and they had a tyre test/comparison and the PS3 tyre won that easily. I am really happy with them but as I got them fitted just after I got the car, the only reference I had was the crap tyres my car came with. These are a massive step up from those(2 different brands and a squared set up).
peace
