The MAF came with the car, the PO had no idea what was going on in life let alone the car. I had to learn what was installed by the ote PO's paperwork.... I got it at an awesome price...

you can start the fun without having the computer. Install all the parts and plug and play when you get your computer

FYI, replaced the older MAF kit with the M tune and still no change with running issues... I found this the weekend after!

I fixed the harness, replaced the knock sensor and it runs a lot better now. The way it was explained to me was if the knock sensor was bad it would pull timing. Making the car feel sluggish and backfire.

I will be getting a new harness, or making one, for this engine build. I have decided to do a modified stock build.. No more HIGH HP build for me.

Good find!!

Is that the ground from the battery beside the sensor? If it is, it should be connected to the bell housing. You want to ground the engine block. Grounds on these cars are known to cause all types of issues.

Ignore the blown head gasket and merky coolant!! If you look on the cylinder between the blown part of the gasket you can see the ring machined out of the top of the cylinder. The part that is suppose to mate with the gasket. The helps hold the wide fire gasket in higher boost applications..
