Air-fuel meter hookup

Just got AFM and the instructions suck.
OK on my 052 I have a 3 wire O2 sensor:
1 black which is the voltage output, but there are 2 whites (?)

Where is a good and easy :p place to reach to pick up the 12v+ lead?

The White O2 sensor wires are for the preheater, the black is the DME feed. Your A/F meter should have 3 wires (you didn't indicate which type you have?). +12VDC, Ground, and O2 signal.

I ran the ground directly to the battery (the A/F meter is very sensitive to poor grounds), ran the +12VDC directly from a spare in the fuse block (if you loosen the fuse panel mounts, you can easily slip a wire to the top of the board... inboard pins are powered direct, use a fuse and slip it into the outboard side), and spliced the O2 feed into the harness at the back of the engine (where it connects to the main harness).

Hope this helps, Good Luck!

I have detailed step-by-step instructions on how to install the ARM1 air-fuel meter into your stock clock location on my website at: http://members.rennlist.com/951_racerx

The entire installation uses the existing wiring harness of the clock for power and taps into the DME harness for the O2-sensor signal. Piece of cake!
