Thanks guys. I understood roughly what you meant by hubrid. Aren't all these conversions watercooled ?Isn't water cooling essential ? I'd rather keep it on mine.

I think you are wise to retain water-cooling as well, but I believe the Garretts come both w/ and w/o water jackets depending on which center housing is speced.

No, no reason to call the junk yards looking for the T3's that came off of the Volvos It's smaller then The K26. The top dawg 740/780/940 Turbo+ cars made 180hp with 10 to 11 lbs of boost from the factory.

I have heard that Kokeln Club Turbo is actually a Garrett, is this true?
If so, how do you compare it with the rest of the aftermarket turbos?
i.e. K26/8, K27, K29, T04.......
