Metering Intercooler In/Out Air Temp

Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to meter intercooler In/Out air temp?

So far the only thing I've found is an Autometer gauge and temp sensor set up that runs around $250. (not worth it in my opinion.)

I know there's got to be a less expensive way using some modified gauge and meter designed or another application. (i.e. like using a welding tank regulator control valve for a boost control regulator)

Thanks in advance!

Lindsey Racing has a system that will measure in/out intercooler temp ...and one other temp source...

hope it helps

Ratdog... thanks for the info however that system is not less expensive than the Autometer system I mentioned (which in my opinion is nicer) and Andial...

Has the same system however I was unable to find a price...

Thanks, I'll keep looking!

try the above link. This on an Australian website called autospeed. I have one of the meters but have not used it yet. It's a pretty good site. Tons of info relating to boosted cars. I bought a voltage meter from them for about $15 that is the size of a half stick of gum. Hooked it up to my o2 sensor for a slick unobtrusive air/fuel meter.

Someone mentioned either here or on some other forum that Radio Shack has a meter tat worked well and wasn't too expensive. I'm going down there tomorrow to check this out since I've been wanting an intercooler temp-gauge for quite some time now.

Danno,

Keep us posted, I'd be interested to hear what you come up with.

Thanks in advance!
