Post Guru, please update us on new parts

Guru guys,

Any date when we can buy your Headgasket and studs. I lost my gasket some time ago and decided to wait until your one is available. I read the post about Headgasket failures and my one looked just like the one you showed.

You mentioned new studs. If I'm this deep now, I'm prepared to do everything right.

Thanks for all of your support here. Your efforts in improving upon the parts presently available, is truely appreciated by this owner. It is great when we can finally count on a company who really cares about us and our cars.

Give yourselves a big pat on the back.

Thankyou.

And Danno, will all the new MAP kits not shipped yet (includeing mine) have built in electronic boost controllers? Will they use the stock cycleing valve?

We're still awaiting a turnaround time from Link-USA on upgrading the MAP boxes to include the electronic boost-controllers. So I'm just going to ship out the kits that are ordered with our existing boxes. Those who really want the electronic boost controller function can get them updated later at a discount. It can drive the stock CV to manage boost. For those who've dumped theirs, we'll have an aftermarket boost-solenoid available. Expect all outstanding MAP-kit orders to be shipped out this week.

Gaskets are on the way, we'll have them next week. The studs will take a couple weeks more to get in stock. Headgaskets will be priced at $145 each. Studs will be $395 a set with metric chromoly nuts and washers. Combo pricing for the gaskets+studs will be $495.

Wastegate upgrades will be available on an exchange/core basis. You can send us your wastegate, or we can send you one w/core-charge. They will be upgraded with a stiffer spring and converted to dual-port operation. This should be available in about 1.5 weeks.

Also, how much will it cost to "upgrade" my map box to the electronic boost controller too. I read somewhere on your site $100 i think? Also how will you set them? will you need that hand held programer?

I´ll receive my Apexi AVC-R any day now so I´m looking for a dualport wastegate to go with it. The lindsey unit looks great but I bet yours will be less expensive .
