Post A quick newbie BOV question

Am I supposed to be able to hear the stock BOV between hard shifts? My car is completely stock and about a month ago, when I bought it, I could hear the whoosh in between hard shifts... now I don't. Should I worry?

The sound you could have been hearing was the valve was starting to tear, now it might be completely blown and the noise had changed or gone completely away.
Take off the valve and see if you can blow through it, or use a hand vaccum pump and check the control line port and see if it will hold vaccum, if not, replace it.
Good luck

Thanks for the help... one more question: if it's working properly, should I be able to hear it?
