I hear that the only difference between the "double adjustable yellows" and the "reds" are the color. I just spray paint them to add that extra 15 HP. Works like a charm.
Vrooom Vrooom baby.
Whens the last time you checked your muffler oil? That can lead to serious problems down the road if left unchecked.

Travis, can I use any kind of paint for 15hp gain. I have some water base paint.Or it has to be oil base?.
Does it have to be sprayed or can I use a paint brush?
Please Advise.

I also like to take a knife and shave the side walls of my tires to save a little weight. If you do it just right you dont have to have the tire re ballanced.

I think there needs to be a little give here for language barrier. Judging from the e-mail I received, I would have to say english is the second language(it's good english ... don't get me wrong ... but could still explain a little)
Perhaps there is an implication here that better shocks lets you put the power to the ground better ... ?

I went and looked at the car he is selling, I am still interested in buying it. But he doesn't know much about cars, he admits this. He didn't know that there was no catalytic converter, but he told me he had a test pipe. He told me he had changed the steering wheel oil (power steering fluid), but I attributed this to the language. He told me the Koni yellows were stock, but here he says he had them installed. I was just wondering if that was due to the language as well.

I would guess ... he says there are good records ... that true? The car looks sweet ... so does the price. I'd consider buying it nearly blind if I didn't just get mine 3 weeks ago
I might be insane ... but then ... so is most of this discussion list! Speaking of ... is it wrong for me to keep going out to look in the garage to make sure it's still mine!

Not wrong at all! I look out the window hoping someone left one there for me. I looked at the car, he says it has all of its papers for the work. But he didn't have them with him when he showed me the car. It does look good though. I asked about what has been done to the car recently (belts, hoses, usual tune-up stuff). He didn't know, but said it was all in the papers. He told me he thinks in has a racing clutch, and he's not really sure what mods are done, other than the ones listed. I offered him less than what he's asking because of the uncertainty I have in the car, but I'll pay cash.
Test drove it, and I think it's worth the risk if it means that'll be in my driveway!

I noticed my car wasn't pulling as hard yesterday. After some serious searching for something wrong with the car, I proceeded to search the boards for some wisdom and found this was the wrong board. (j/k)
Seriously though. I came upon this thread. Then went back to see if there was something that I overlooked. Sure enough. I found some rogue paint chips on the nose of the car. BINGO!! I proceeded to grab the vial of Porsche guards red touch up paint, only original Porsche paint will work, and carefully filled in the chips even with the rest of the paint. You will not believe the aerodynamic effect this had. This allowed for a formidable 10+ HP increase. Just wanted to share my experience with this type discussion.
