Post Need a 944 Turbo Oil Pan

If anyone has an oil pan from an 88 turbo S or 89 let me know what you want for it. I'd also like to get the oil pickup tube as well. I might also be interested in an '86' pan.

Thanks,

Alan

Alan:

I have two 951 pans. One from an '87 and '88S. They have the same part number cast on them. Oil pump pickup as well. Make a reasonable offer. Can email some pics if you like.

Al:

I am sorry for the misunderstanding but I need one of them. I was not clear in my wording.

What is the difference with the "update" baffle anyway? And can this baffle be fitted to the older '86 pan?

Danno:

Good question. I do not know the answer to it. If you have the bolt hole locations in the pan, maybe. The insert bolts to the inside of the sump portion of the pan. The oil return and pickup tubes extend below this insert. The insert has some holes and such formed into it in an attempt to keep the oil contained around the pickup. I will take some pics of the inside of the pan and post them tomorrow if I can figure out how to do it. I am new to this area of rennlist.

944 Turbo and 944S2 Oil Pan Baffle
the '89 Turbo and S2 have an extra oil pan baffle to counteract the high-G oil travle problem.
It works with normal pans as well. Part no. 944.107.389.03 U$66
