Rob, what is the name of the poly you used, and where did you get it?

Those that believe there is no movement with a solid mount, have apparently never actaully been under a car with a solid trans mount.

You can literally reach up and move the trans BY HAND with a solid mount. The crossmember itself allows a certain amount of movement due to it's design and thin steel. It will not move as much or as far as a stock mount, but it most certainly will move and is not "solid" as so many seem to believe.

I am under my car way too much and my trans doesn't move at all after doing the poly fill described in the kelly thread. There may be some other issue if the trans is able to be moved easily with a solid mount.

I have run the filled/Kelly mount for many years. It fixed all my issues and is cheap and effective. I use the Lindsey supermount engine mounts up front and I am very satisfied with the combination.

Zero issues since the changes.

I've tried shimmying, shaking, and just in general just getting the transaxle to move at all and wasn't able to get much, if any, measurable deflection. This is with a PU filled mount.

When I rebuilt all my CV joints, the driver side was worn a lot more than the passenger. I'd attribute this to the torquing of the transaxle under heavy load with the stock mount.

Or you can DIY it by filling the mount with polyurethane resin. Look it up, I did it on my car and couldn't be happier.
Bingo! Get a new stock mount and fill 'er up.

If you use the two part poly that you pour, it isn't necessary to get a new mount. I used my mount with 130K miles and poured the poly in the mount. My transmission does not budge at all. Prior to this mod I could easily shake it side to side over an inch in either direction.

I didn't go with the two part poly so I started with a new mount, cheap insurance for a 20+yo part.
