stumble after idle with APE stage 2 chips
i have recently been having on heck of at time with APE chips. the first set i got was completly bad and wouldnt even fire. I sent that set back and got a new set. the turbo chip works fine but whenever the fuel chip is put in it has a stumble after bumping the throtle after idle. after talking to APE directly they said that it wasnt the chips but most likely the O2 sensor.does this sound like a reasonable problem? (note: during the stumble the rpm actually comes down at first then shoots up to 2,000. it also has lots of black smoke out the back during this range.) any info would be helpful. Dave

My car did the same thing at one time, I have AA chips in. It was the TPS, more specifically I cleaned the connection at the TPS. I've been told that a MAF problem is very similar too.
