I'm not sure, but I think that 280rwhp with the stock injectors and 3bar fpr should be doable.
That's my goal for now with the stock injectors.
Might need octane to get there.

Russ, thats kinda what I was thinking for power output. I've been considering the SDS and it seems like the direction I may follow as well so I appreciate your updates on the progress. Especially if Danno puts together the electrical adapter kits that have been discussed.

At this point I don't really have the time or flexibility to do major engine alterations such as upgrading turbos (unfortunately). So I'd just like to maximize the potential of a basic stock setup. Of course, if any of you guys want to offer some P service in exchange for a free place to stay just off south beach where there are more hot chicks than all of say, Canada - just let me know.

This is an old map before the fuel injector changes. The cold start numbers aren't tuned (I can get you those if you can't figure 'em out) and the RPM FUEL is too rich at the top end. I've got some tuning tricks (on road, 2 people) as well. I'm getting a wideband O2 sensor next week to see how close I am to 12.5 from seat of the pants adjustments.

HI Everyone. I just registered to this forum. I bought My 951 about 3 months ago and I think it's
the greatest porsche! It handles like a dream. My car is basically stock, except for the autothority chip I installed on it. This car is so fast. Not as fast as any of yours, but the fastest I have ever driven. I hope to modify it in the future. How is Huntley Racing? Is it as good as they say they are? are there any better companies?

seriously-welcome to the forum! The often talked about tuners are Huntley, SpeedForceRacing, LindseyRacing, Autothority, there ARE other choices: Like Scott Gomes of UnderPressurePerformance, Jon Milledge, people will chime in with tons of others.
For bolt on upgrades I will recommend SFR, Huntley or Lindsey..Ive had good luck in talking/buying from them in the past. If you are looking for power beyond bolts ons theyre are tons of people to talk to. All the bolt on people plus many other less talked about tuners. whatever you want=$$$$

In your area, I definitely and whole-heartedly recommend Scott Gomes &lt;BodyWrksIn@aol.com&gt; of Under Pressure Performance. He's a very high-end tuner and probably won't take engine-building jobs of less than 500hp. Your next alternative is Speed Force Racing. For info about several people's experience with Huntley, email me privately.

Michael and anyone else interested in a SDS installation, I am having a nice bracket to mount the hall sensor in essentially the same postion that rage's is. I'll try to get the guy to make a handful of them so the toughest part of this whole project can be solved for the rest of you guys. With this bracket in hand, all you will need is 1cm longer front seal/cover(?) bolts (2) and pull the balance belt gear off the crank and send it to SDS and they'll install the magnets. Should make it pretty easy.

Thanks guys for the info. BTW, My car is making a whining sound from the front of the engine. It sounds like a bearing or something dealing with the belts in the front. Does any one else know? What could be the problem, the solution?

Here's a breakdown thus far:

SDS 4E for MSD,knock sensing, 3 bar MAP and mixture meter (really cool and tiny) and overnight shipping - $1186.00

MBC - $59.95

Aluminized wiring harness wrap and heat tape and header wrap - $43.00

MSDS filter and various silicone and clamps for intake - $135.00

Magnets installed in pulley and bracket for hall sensor - lots of malty beverages and probably some dollars if I get extras made.

3 bar FPR - $46.00

Magnecor wires and NGK plugs - $85.00

There's a bunch more stuff going on/off the car but it's not SDS related. Things like AC deletion, new coolant hoses, etc.

And finally, yes I'm doing the whole crazy thing myself.

Paragon Products-3 bar fpr
Summit Racing-DEI heat shroud, DEI cool tape and Thermo-Tec header wrap. The shroud and tape was $43.00. The header wrap was an additional $14.95, my mistake.

When I drive my car when it's cold, I hear a whining noise in the rear. Does anyone have an idea of what it is? It's really loud. It's starting to worry me. Thanks.

Most likely you have a female fuel pump. They usually don't dress for the conditions and when it's cold, that explains the whining you hear.

Replace with a larger volume male pump and everything will be fine!
